One day, Seunghyun—the ideal Guide—appears before Heesu, a Sentinel who has become so numb from heartless, painful acts and unwanted experiments that he can no longer feel pain or emotion.

“So it’s you, my Guide.”

Unlike other violent Guides, Seunghyun treats Heesu with tenderness, as if he were a fragile being, and as he watches him, he begins to feel a strange emotion he has never experienced before…

“I’ll always be by your side, so rest easy, Yeomyeong.”
“…Heesu… Not ‘Yeomyeong’—Heesu. Doh Heesu.”

With Seunghyun’s arrival, colour begins to be added, bit by bit, to Heesu’s life, which had always been as black and white as a monochrome film.
